These Terms of Service govern your use of Ai chatbot : Translator Ai, operated by Facemeet Private Limited.

1. About the App

Ai chatbot : Translator Ai is an iPhone app by Facemeet Private Limited that offers text, voice, camera and document translation, AI chat, grammar and writing tools, a language tutor, phrasebooks, offline language packs and a translation keyboard. By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) and able to form a binding contract. If you are under 18, use the app only with a parent or guardian's permission.

3. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, under the Apple Media Services Terms and the usage rules of the App Store. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or build competing services from the app, except where the law allows.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the app to:

• Break any law or infringe anyone's rights.
• Create, translate or distribute unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise harmful content.
• Submit content you do not have the right to use, or confidential information of others.
• Interfere with, probe or overload our servers or attempt to bypass limits, ads, subscriptions or security.
• Use automated means to access the service or to train other AI systems.

5. Your Content and Permissions

You keep ownership of the text, voice, images and documents you submit. You give us a limited permission to process them (and to share them with the providers described in our Privacy Policy) only to provide the features you ask for. You are responsible for your content.

The app asks for access to the microphone, speech recognition and camera for voice and camera features, and may ask for permission to track you for advertising. You can change permissions in iOS Settings, but some features will stop working.

6. AI and Translation Accuracy

Translations and AI answers are generated automatically and may be wrong, incomplete, outdated or biased. Do not rely on them for legal, medical, financial, safety-critical or other important decisions without checking with a qualified professional or a certified human translator. You are responsible for how you use the results.

7. Free Version, Ads and Limits

The free version is supported by advertising and has daily usage limits for some features. Some limits can be extended by watching a rewarded ad. We may change limits, features or ad formats at any time.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

Premium removes ads and unlocks higher limits and premium features, including the translation keyboard and its online translation. Prices and plans shown in the app are the ones that apply to you; at the time of writing they include a weekly plan with a 3-day free trial and a yearly plan. Prices vary by region and may change.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, or when the free trial ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
• Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

9. Availability and Updates

We try to keep the app available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Cloud features depend on third parties and your connection. We may update, suspend or discontinue features at any time, and new versions may be required to keep using the app.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information and forms part of these Terms.

11. Third-Party Services

The app uses services from Apple and other third-party providers, such as analytics, AI, advertising, attribution and subscription services. Their terms apply to those services, and we are not responsible for them. Ads may link to third-party sites or apps.

12. Intellectual Property

The app, its design, code, text, graphics and trademarks belong to Facemeet Private Limited or its licensors and are protected by law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you. If you send feedback, you allow us to use it without obligation to you.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Facemeet Private Limited and its directors, employees and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

15. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or if we must do so by law. Sections that by nature should survive termination will survive.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. The “Last Updated” date shows the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

17. Apple Terms

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app and is not responsible for claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in India have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in your country.
